This was such a cool wedding! We started at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Colorado. The wedding ceremony and reception was part of the Denver Art Museum‘s Untitled Series. After the museum closed at 5pm we headed over to Denver’s Civic Park to take some group shots. I love the shot with Denver’s capital in the background. Patricia had some awesome spontaneous moments like when she jumped in front of the Denver Art Museum sign. The food at Palattes in the museum was some of the best I have had at a wedding. The clean lines and art on the walls made for some interesting backgrounds.

Alison and Dan at the St. Julien Hotel
Alison and Dan had a wedding with a mix of the rustic outdoors and the elegant indoors. The ceremony was on top of flagstaff mountain in Boulder and the reception was at the St. Julien. I always love shooting a wedding at the St. Julien Hotel. It photographs beautifully because of all the clean lines. The service is great and the food is always outstanding too. The room at the St. Julien was truly transformed by Alison and Lynn at Brighter Day Floral. Nice job Alison!
Meghan and Tyler at Chautauqua
A cool early morning at Chautauqua with beautiful overcast skies was the setting for this wedding in Boulder, Colorado. We had gotten to know the couple and her parents before the wedding and it was great to be a part of these two families’ special day as their wedding photographer. I love the 300esque movie lighting of the groomsmen. The red flowers really pop under the overcast light. The flowers by Ellen Cara were really magnificent. That was some kiss…
