Amy brought many creative ideas to her engagement session in Boulder, Colorado. She brought their colorful cruiser bikes and matched her shirt color with the bike (she loves pink). She brought a fun bride and groom theater mask and a framed print of their wedding date. Adding a few props and coordinating clothing and colors adds some spontaneous fun to their engagement session and pop to their photos. We’ve designed a fantastic guest sign in book from their shoot (with a pink spine on the cover of course.)
Cassidy’s senior session
I’ve been lucky enough this year to photograph many of my daughters friends. It’s been amazing to watch many of the young women grow up since Kindergarten. We started Cassidy’s photo shoot with some urban scenes in downtown Boulder. We had a bit of fun with the street performer playing on the corner. Cassidy is a swimmer so we ended the day actually in Boulder Creek!
Duke’s CU Graduation Photos
Andrea’s CU Senior Photo Shoot
Photographing graduating senior portraits of CU students on campus can be some of the most fun and scenic portrait sessions. We lucked out with the weather. A cloudy March Sunday afternoon with no snow. Andrea was so natural in front of the camera. All smiles. If you’re a parent of a graduating CU student, call soon to inquire about availability and pricing.

Spencer and Hannah – A Senior Couples Farewell to CU
Spencer and Hannah’s photo shoot on campus at CU Boulder was to commemorate their years together at CU and to get an image for senior graduation announcements. I finally now feel like I know CU well after all the weddings and portraits and events I’ve done there. A beautiful couple and great human beings, I’me sure they are going to make a big positive difference in the world.
Senior Portraits – Avi, Halle and Izzie
I’ve known Avi and Halle since they were in preschool and now they are at Boulder High School! We did our session in the studio first and then in the mountains above Boulder and finished just as it started to rain. Izzie, their little white dog, was a hoot and added some fun images. I think the images and their bright faces speak louder than any words I might use to describe them.
Sara – a CU senior graduation photo shoot
I really enjoy photographing college seniors for their announcements – it’s an exciting time in their lives filled with change and fun. I was looking forward to this photo shoot and then Sara added, “Oh, I’me a runner, can we do some shots of me running too?” Then I did my happy dance. She wanted a softness to the portraits but still outside in the mountains and I think we nailed it. Her boy friend Thomas came along for a few of them together too. At 6 feet 4 inches it was a little challenging. It was a gorgeous Colorado spring afternoon. In just a few more weeks the grass will all turn green and then I expect to see a Leprechaun or two to jump out from behind these trees.
Nick and Allison’s Engagement session
We shot their engagement session at Chautauqua in Boulder starting in the courtyard and then moved into the meadow below the flatirons. As we walked there we came across two big bucks who mostly ignored us but it was exciting. I love her red dress and the way it pops out among the straw colored meadow. A cute couple I’me looking forward to working with in 2016.
Sydney’s Senior Session
What fun it was to photograph Sydney at this historic Boulder ranch setting! We used the old farm house and barn on the property as well as the open space next to it. She chose to incorporate some of her Irish step dancing into the photo shoot. Wow. Thanks to her mom Susan for her help during the shoot and finding this amazing location.
